  • HALLOWEEN MEMO

     

    To convey a respectful, responsible and safe school environment and to guarantee a Happy Halloween, please review the following with your children:

    • masks are not allowed – we must know who is in the school for safety reasons
    •  face paint must be applied at home; it is not allowed on the bus or in school
    •  no weapons of any kind(plastic or otherwise – swords, guns, etc.)
    •  no cross-dressing (ex. boys as cheerleaders, girls as boys, etc.)
    •  appropriate costumes only: the FMS dress code applies to costumes (ex. girls should not be wearing high heels, slinky dresses, dressing as “Play Boy Bunnies,” maids, etc.); all skirts or dresses must adhere to the dress code – 3 inches below your finger tips; no low cut dresses, etc.

  • 4:00 and 5:00 Buses
     
    Homework Haven will begin the week of September 22, Monday through Thursday.  Buses will be available at 4:00 to transport middle school students home.
     
    Buses at 5:00 will also be available Monday through Friday to transport students staying for detention (Tues. and Thurs. beginning the week of Sept. 22), modified sports, meetings and play practice.

    Frontier will be using myschoolbucks.com, a new service that allows you to prepay for your child's school breakfast, lunch and a la carte items online using your credit or debit card.  To enroll simply go to www.mySchoolBucks.com and click on Register for an Account.

  • FMS is committed to every student's success.
    FMS has "13th period"  Monday-Thursday
    until 3:15 p.m.   "13th period" allows students the opportunity
    to work with teachers on homework, classwork, make-up
    tests or quizzes.  

    FMS also offers homework haven Monday -Thursday from
    2:55 until 4 p.m.   Homework haven allows all students to
    have a place to complete homework with the assistance of a teacher.

    At 4:00 p.m there are buses available Monday-Thursday
    to transport children home after "13th period"  and homework haven. 
    If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher or guidance
    counselor for more information.

Procedures for early release of middle school students: If you are visiting the Middle School to pick up a student please enter through
the front door of the building near the flag pole.
Upon entering the school, please report
to the window reception area near the main office.
To ensure the safety of our students, you will be asked to show picture identification
and sign the dismissal log.
You must be on the child's authorized release list prior to arriving
at the building.
To update this list, please contract the central registration office at 926-1700.
