Frontier’s own Renee Kumiega has been appointed as the new principal at Cloverbank Elementary. She brings both administrative and teaching experience to her new position. Mrs. Kumiega has been an outstanding 4th grade teacher at Cloverbank for the last 13 years as well as Frontier’s Summer School Director. Additionally, Renee has co-chaired numerous educational committees and co-coached our state champion cheerleaders.
Frontier has had the pleasure of Renee’s never ending dedication to the pursuit of excellence for the Frontier students, staff and community. Her strong elementary and administrative experience, have made her an excellent choice as principal for Cloverbank Elementary.
After achieving her Bachelors degree from Buffalo State College, Mrs. Kumiega went on to Canisius College obtaining her Masters in Special Education and Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Kumiega plans on continuing academic achievement and to further students academic success, making sure that Cloverbank students are prepared not only academically, but socially and emotionally for their next steps at Frontier while building strong character.
When asked what she is most proud of, it is clear that Mrs. Kumiega has a strong pride for the Frontier community, “I think I am most proud of the opportunity to give back to the district that molded me to who I am today. The solid education that I received in this amazing district led me to want to be an educator and an educational leader. I love what I do, I have passion for the students, education, and for the Frontier Central School District.”
